Can I donate a car to a charity?

Donate a car to support one of thousands of nonprofits or charities. Vehicle pick-up is free and vehicle donations are tax-deductible. All vehicles considered.

What if a charity sells a car?

a. Fair market value (FMV). If the charity sells the vehicle for $500 or less, you can generally deduct the FMV of the vehicle up to $500 or the amount it sells for, whichever is greater.b. b. Sale price. If the charity sells the vehicle for more than $500, you can deduct the amount the car sold for.

We accept almost all vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, boats, snowmobiles, farm equipment and construction equipment.
